No post today...


There will not be any post today, not necessarily by solidarity with the Writers Guild, but my blogging activity has been disturbed by the fact that together with my son, we are just now painting walls and ceilings in his (+ family) new flat.

To avoid any misunderstanding: I wanted to show the maybe best examples of wall and ceiling paintings. However, what we are doing will probably be better represented by this picture!

  10. J'ai cru que vous vouliez reproduire les murs et plafonds de la chapelle sixtine!!!mais l'appartement de Patrick ne doit pas être aussi grand je pense. Alors ne faites pas trop de coulures et ensuite je te demanderai de venir m'aider à peindre les miens, surtout les plafonds ça se salit vite avec le chauffage.

  19. AH ! Peter, tu me fais rire ! Michel Ange a passé du temps enfouis sur le dos sur ses échaffaudages pour opeindre tout seul le plafd de la Sixtine, j'espère que tu as de l'aide et que cela te prendra moins de temps!
    Le résultat vaut le coup, j'ai pu en juger avec bonheur moi-même (du moins à Rome). Mais même Michel Ange a eu droit à des retouches à son travail : on a par la suite collé des petites culottes à Adam et asociés (qu'on a enlevé depuis heureusement)!
