Today, some (more or less) French speaking bloggers are supposed to write something on a common topic, to be posted at noon, Paris time. As this month’s topic is linked to travelling and I cannot pretend travelling to Paris, I thought I should anyhow first do something simple and short about my favourite city. So, this post, despite the title, has nothing to do with travelling.
A China born specialist in oriental antiques, C.T. Loo, had this - for Paris somewhat surprising construction (rue de Courcelles) - built for him in 1928 as a gallery. It is still an art gallery, but the place can also be rented for special events. I understand that the building is or may soon be for sale.
This reminds me about the famous “La Pagode”, perhaps the nicest little movie theatre in Paris, a bit further away from where I live, but I may bring you there one day.
